Staff at Resort and Golf Club Contract COVID
A letter from Sascha Hemmann, Managing Director of Rosewood Tucker’s Point Resort and Golf Club, was sent to members of the club on Friday March 19.
The letter informed them that certain back of house staff members at the club have tested positive for COVID-19 during daily testing. As a result, Island Brasserie restaurant, Tucker’s Bar and Conservatory Bar and Lounge closed today to undergo a thorough disinfection process which was supervised by the Ministry of Health.
According to the letter, everyone who was in close contact with those who tested positive have been notified of such and, as per current government protocol, must remain in quarantine.
The letter assured members that the hotel and club continue to implement intensified health and safety measures at their facility in accordance with their global health and safety program Commitment to Care and intensely follow the Ministry of Health’s guidelines.
Ms. Hemmann apologized to members for any inconvenience these closures may have caused and assured them that they will reopen their doors once they get the okay to do so from the Ministry of Health. To ensure the well-being of the whole community, the resort is constantly in contact with the Ministry.
