POLICE INVESTIGATE EARLY HOUR FIREARM INCIDENT IN ST. GEORGE
Police are investigating a firearm incident that took place in area of Wellington Back Road in St. George's early this morning.
TNN was made aware of a man, brandishing a firearm, entering a dwelling where he attempted to discharge the weapon. It is believed the weapon jammed and the persons in whom resided at the dwelling retaliated by inducing multiple wounds onto the perpetrator.
The perpetrator was said to have fled the scene and collapsed outside the dwelling and was later transported to KEMH for his injuries.
The gun was recovered by police from the scene and a major investigation is underway.
